A domain is your address that you have. When you get your own domain you get an address of something like http://www.somthing.(com, net, or org). Getting your own domain can cost quite a lot but it will help your business a lot in that your site will be stumbled upon by more people and you will be accepted by many more companies to be their associates. You should not get your own domain until your revenue from your site can pay for the cost of having your own domain. At this point I wouldn't suggest getting your own domain but this is definitely something to look into. At this point I myself am looking into it. This is the best server out there, it does cost a lot but it is well worth it. Along with hosting your site it will give you many neat gadgets to put on your stie to attract more attention.
